Catalyx is seeking an Automation & IT Integration Engineer with a strong background in process control systems and industrial automation. This role serves as a key interface between Automation/OT and on-site IT teams, focusing on troubleshooting equipment connectivity, supporting system integration, and ensuring reliable data flow across platforms. The ideal candidate can effectively communicate automation concepts to IT personnel who may not have prior experience with industrial control systems.
Responsibilities
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Serve as the primary liaison between Automation/OT and IT teams.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment connectivity, communication, and data flow.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support integration between industrial control systems and IT infrastructure.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist IT teams in understanding automation systems, architectures, and dependencies.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Configure, maintain, and support automation platforms and data systems.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure accurate and reliable data collection through historian and integration platforms.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in GxP/validation activities where applicable.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Document system configurations, architectures, and troubleshooting procedures.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support continuous improvement efforts related to system performance and reliability.
Requirements
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or process control environments.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong experience with AVEVA PI System (PI Historian).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working in GxP or validated environments.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with Ignition SCADA platforms.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with Rockwell Automation systems (Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong troubleshooting skills across OT and IT systems.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to effectively communicate with IT teams unfamiliar with automation systems.
