Accountabilities:

As Medical Lead, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), you will help shape and deliver the US Medical Affairs strategy for a priority hematology oncology indication. In this highly visible role, you will lead the Core Medical Team, develop and execute the integrated medical plan, and use scientific, clinical, customer, and multi-channel insights to inform evidence generation, product development, and launch readiness. You will collaborate across Medical, Clinical Development, Patient Safety, Commercial, Market Access, and Field Medical teams to advance science-driven strategies with meaningful impact for patients and the CLL community. Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of investigator-initiated studies that complement the AstraZeneca clinical development plan, leading the real-world evidence strategy for the assigned indication or asset from concept through execution and communication, and creating the US publication plan for generated evidence. You will also provide medical review and input for key materials, engage strategic external partners, contribute to safety discussions, and support scientific exchange with field medical and key account teams.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges $193,281.60 - $289,922.40 USD .  Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
