Service Project Manager: Will coordinate project activities while serving as the single point of contact as the construction manager between Boland and the client throughout the duration of the project. Will effectively manage project safety, schedule, cost, scope, quality, and client relationships. Will ensure seamless collaboration, timely project delivery, and exceptional client satisfaction through all phases of the project lifecycle.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage major service TQ, TQEI, TQBA projects and other high-profile service activities, ensuring timely execution from start to finish.
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by Team before transmitting to Client.
  • Attends and participates in project meetings with internal teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns responsibilities for project fulfillment.
  • Keep notes, such as job order numbers, parts tracking, estimated ship dates, changes in job, etc. designated software (i.e. Wennsoft or successor platform)
  • Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project modifications in alignment with client
  • Prepares for project progress reviews. Provides projections, on weekly basis, for the current month. Provides information on project deviations for monthly gross margin meeting
  • Monitors project labor hours and expenses on a regular basis.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Minimizes Company exposure and risk on projects.
  • Assist in the closeout process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical, construction management, or business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience within building automation controls, general, mechanical contracting, or construction management preferred, general HVAC knowledge
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive, strong time management skills, organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Mobility within the office and job sites
  • Willing to travel locally as required
  • Frequent visits to job sites and able to climb ladders
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds on an occasional basis
