How you will contribute

A HIM Technician who excels in this role:

  • Is responsible for coordinating and processing all release of information requests for all provider offices according to state and federal law.
  • Analyzes all records for completion and accuracy according to department and hospital policy and procedures for the next business day following discharge.
  • Performs quality audits on charts according to the Quality standards set forth by the department.

What we are looking for: Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must possess high level of computer knowledge. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in medical records is preferred.
