About us
Highpoint Health- Sumner has been providing quality health care to Middle TN for 65 years. Since opening in 1959, we have grown from one facility with just 50 employees and 7 physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Today, we operate as a 167-bed healthcare facility and provide quality care in numerous areas of health care.

How you'll contribute
As a Patient Care Technician聽joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to聽making communities healthier. This includes:
- Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living
- Providing or assisting with providing direct patient care
- Observing and recording patient behavior and activities
- Reporting any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggesting modifications to treatment plans
- Assisting with POC testing and EKGs as needed

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent聽required
- State of TN CNA license聽preferred,聽can be considered without high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
- 1 year certified nurse tech or EMT experience preferred
