  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
    • Creates and releases work orders/production schedules for Manufacturing and/or purchase orders for Suppliers as required to meet inventory goals and ensure on-time delivery to customers. 
    • Monitors/reports on Manufacturing and/or Supplier performance – and works with Production/Suppliers on issues/opportunities to drive improvements (i.e. time/cost savings, lead-time reductions, quality improvements, etc.)
    • Communicates/Coordinates with purchasing, production, engineering, quality and sales to achieve customer-required delivery dates. 
    • Manages change activity at the work order and/or purchase order level and works with manufacturing to ensure timely and accurate material management/reporting practices and procedures.
    • Communicates/Coordinates transactional/inventory accuracy issues – works with others to drive transactional/inventory accuracy improvements.
    • Assess the impact of engineering change orders and execute changes as required. 
    • Assists with special projects (i.e. new product/customer ramp-up plans, end-of-life, etc.).

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
    • Basic knowledge of MRP, inventory management, and bills of material (experience with Syteline ERP system a plus, but not required).  Typically 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
    • Proficient with MS Office applications – advanced knowledge of Excel required, Access experience desired, but not required. 
    • Organized and able to manage multiple changing priorities while meeting deadlines. 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels. 
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated analytical ability. 
    • Detail oriented, self-motivated, and excellent organizational skills. 
    • Must be able to work well under pressure.
