GENERAL FUNCTION:Â Â Â Â
Under supervision of the VP of Operations, the Courier/Permit Administrator is responsible for ensuring timely application and receipt of building permits and running delivery errands for many different departments within the Division, as well as other duties and responsibilities listed below:
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Courier
- Transporting checks for property taxes paid to municipalities based on Divisional needs
- Delivering printers, laptops, modems, and other IT tools, as needed, to model homes on behalf of the IT Support team
- Delivering checks and documents to municipalities for approval on behalf of the Land Department
- Coordinating model supplies based on orders placed with the Divisional Sales team
- Permitting
- Applying for permit applications
- Correct paperwork is submitted and delivered on a timely basis for issuance of building permits and utility receipts.
- Manage the start schedule and update software on when the permits have been applied for, expected to be completed, and when the final permit has been executed
- Administration
- Updating and auditing internal processes for permitting
- Other various administrative duties, projects, and committees to be determined
PREREQUISITES FOR SUCCESS:
- Work 20-25 hours per week; salary commensurate with experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook experience and math skills
- Organizational skills and ability to adapt in a high paced work environment
- Interpersonal skills to articulately and professionally interact with team members, municipalities, and general public
