SECURITY GUARD (PRN)

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

The ability to perform the following:

• • Sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during work hours
  • Work in all areas of all the healthcare authority facilities and grounds
  • Effectively cope with frequent interruptions
  • Work beyond normal working hours, if necessary, to effectively and efficiently perform required duties
  • Cope with possible subjection to infectious diseases, toxic substances, abusive people,
  • Cope with stress that arises from working in the performance of duties
  • Communicate with all authority personnel, medical staff, patients, and visitors while exercising proper and appropriate human relations skills
    

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• • High School diploma
  • Security and/or law enforcement background
    
  • Basic knowledge of investigative techniques
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Basic knowledge of Crisis Intervention techniques
  • Knowledge in the use of security camera and computer systems
  • Knowledge of the use of protection devices
  • Possess integrity and excellent human relation skills
  • Possess current driver's license.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language and communicate
  • Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances
