The position is responsible for the inspection, packaging, and handling of products from assigned machines. The primary focus is on maintaining quality standards, ensuring safe working conditions, and adhering to production documentation. The job involves identifying and separating defects, following packaging instructions, and implementing 5S principles. The role requires active engagement in environmental, health, and safety practices, as well as complying with company policies. The main duties and responsibilities are distributed as follows:

60% of the time is dedicated to production-related tasks, including identifying and reporting defects, performing inspections, trimming and sorting parts, operating secondary equipment according to work instructions, and ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
20% of the time is allocated to maintaining quality standards, which involves understanding and communicating quality requirements, following ISO procedures, performing basic visual quality checks, and adhering to product packaging specifications.
10% of the time is focused on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices and 5S principles. This includes creating a safe work environment, identifying and addressing unsafe conditions, complying with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, and actively participating in EHS initiatives through safety reporting and observations.
The remaining 10% involves tasks such as grinding defective parts, recognizing common materials, ensuring good parts are not placed in regrind, and marking initials on boxes.
Overall, the position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of the production process, while adhering to relevant guidelines and documentation.
