We are expanding our staff and seeking Licensed Journeyman electricians to join the Hays Team for a job in Galveston, Texas

Job description

We are seeking motivated and skilled Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, multi-family, service, data centers, and/or hospitality projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Duties:

• Comply with regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and tasks completed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continuously improve technical skills.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrical License (Required).
• Valid OSHA 10 certification. 
• Previous experience working as an Electrical Journeyman in commercial, multi-family, and/or hospitality projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must have tools.

Pay: $38.00 - $48 per hour 
 

Experience:

• Electrical: 2 years (Preferred)
