Duties:
The Part-Time EMS Lab Instructor provides hands-on instruction and skills supervision for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) students in a laboratory setting. This position supports student skill development in accordance with course objectives, state and national EMS standards, and institutional policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Current certification as a NREMT Paramedic, Advanced EMT or EMT or state of Texas certification/licensure as a Paramedic, AMET, or EMT
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work evenings or weekends as scheduled
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates of applied science degree in EMS. Prior experience in EMS education or skills instruction. Familiarity with simulation-based training and EMS lab equipment. Certified EMS Instructor
