Stronger families start at Kansas Children’s Service League (KCSL). Founded in 1893, KCSL is a statewide, nonprofit agency that serves thousands of Kansas children and families each year. KCSL’s mission is to protect and promote the well-being of children. Our programs work with children and families in the areas of health, safety and education to succeed and break cycles of neglect, abuse and trauma. We help both children and parents develop skills for success in their families, schools and workplaces. KCSL is also the Kansas chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America and Circle of Parents.

JOB SUMMARY
This position operates the phone system, greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate contact, and provides administrative support to staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Administrative
- Assist Head Start Assistant Directors with projects as requested
- Responsible for daily mail duties including collection and distribution to all delivered mail and message's.Â
- ReceptionistÂ
- Receive and distribute all incoming calls and messages.Â
- Greet Visitors and direct to appropriate contacts
- Data Entry
- Enter paperwork following appropriate data entry proceduresÂ
- TranslateÂ
- Translate various documents as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
- High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- Strong computer skills with applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Bilingual English and SpanishÂ
Preferred
- Two years of experience in office setting
