Bridge Specialty Group is seeking aĀ Technical AssistantĀ to join our growing team in Garden City, NY.āÆāÆĀ
The Technical Assistant reviews insurance applications to evaluate classify and rate individuals and groups for insurance and accept or reject new and renewal applications for Property and Casualty types of coverage.Ā Service and maintain accounts before, during and after binding.Ā
How You Will Contribute:āÆāÆĀ
āÆAssists the Account Executive when underwriting or brokering risks, ensuring that all required information is obtained, proper applications are completed, quotes & binders are confirmed in writing, policies are issued promptly and accurately, state filings (where applicable) are made and taxes paid in accordance with appropriate state laws.Ā Ā
Assists the Account Executives when reviewing, analyzing and underwriting risk submitted by producers, rate submissions for premium and terms analyze exposures for quotes for new and renewal business, issue written indications, quotes and binders.Ā Ā
Confirm that the coding of specific required forms is completed and utilized.Ā Ensure the templates are updated for processing policies/coverage.Ā Ā
Communicate with producers, Company representatives, inspection companies, and finance companies to insure expeditious handling of all submission.Ā Ā Ā
Review and have letters for renewals processed.Ā Ā Ā
Order and follow up for inspections.Ā Ā
Request Loss Runs for years written with office.Ā Ā Ā
Follow up for suspense items on applications, subject to;inspections,etc.Ā Ā Ā
Process all brokerage and contract endorsements.Ā Ā
Handle correspondence with company / producers with Account Executive supervisor as neededĀ Ā

Pay Range
22.00 - 25.00 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
