We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee facility and maintenance needs across all company locations. This individual plays a crucial role in ensuring our facilities, equipment, and production machinery are safe, functional, and well-maintained. In this role, you will lead and organize our hands-on maintenance team while overseeing interior and exterior facility repairs, preventive maintenance, general upkeep, and production machinery maintenance. The ideal candidate is adaptable, hands-on, and able to prioritize projects based on the needs of each location and the business.Â

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Â
- Manage the maintenance and production support function to meet standards established by the Vice President of Operations & Logistics and company leadership.Â
- Lead, schedule, and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.Â
- Develop and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, including inspections, repairs, and equipment overhauls.Â
- Establish priorities and workflows for the maintenance team and monitor completion, quality, and productivity.Â
- Ensure rental equipment, production equipment, tools, and facility assets are maintained and operating to company standards.Â
- Conduct regular quality control and safety inspections and address issues or trends that require corrective action.Â
- Manage machine deployments, upgrades, equipment repairs, and relocations, coordinating resources and timelines as needed.Â
- Evaluate equipment needs and make recommendations regarding repairs, replacements, upgrades, and new equipment purchases.Â
- Review technical materials and work with equipment manufacturers, sales representatives, suppliers, and contractors to identify solutions and coordinate projects.Â
- Manage departmental purchasing, including requisitions for tools, equipment, parts, and supplies, while maintaining the approved budget.Â
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure projects and repairs are completed on time and to company standards for all locations.Â
- Train, coach, and develop team members on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, safety practices, and quality expectations.Â
- Promote accountability, communication, collaboration, and teamwork within the maintenance and production support function.Â
- Monitor maintenance costs, equipment performance, recurring issues, and other key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.Â
- Step in to perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, or repairs when needed, particularly for complex issues, urgent situations, training, or to support the team during periods of high demand.Â
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment, ensuring equipment, tools, and work areas meet company safety standards.Â

Schedule and Benefits:Â
- The weekly schedule includes a 40–50-hour workweek.Â
- Shift times/schedule will be determined collaboratively with leadership.Â

Work Conditions:Â
- Most work is performed in a warehouse setting, in which some work areas may not be heated or air-conditioned.Â
- Hot and cold extremes may be experienced in the warehouse.Â
- Frequent operation of equipment with potential hazards, requiring appropriate safety measures.Â
- Exposure to paints, stains, chemical coats, detergents, bleaches, and cleaning chemicals.Â
- Repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.Â

- Occasional travel to outside locations including Detroit, Columbus, Canton, Monroeville, Pittsburgh, Pompano Beach, and West Palm Beach.Â
Qualifications and Requirements:Â
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and 3-5 years of related experience.Â
- 5+ years of experience in refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or general repair.Â
- Tow motor experience is a plus but will train.Â
- Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required.Â
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Â
- Successful completion of company background check and drug screen.Â
