Product Management Associate

We’re looking for a Product Management Associate to join our team. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution—supporting both the management of existing product lines and the development of new products that expand Brimar’s market reach.

The Product Management Associate plays a key role in helping the Manager shape, launch, and maintain Brimar’s product portfolio. You’ll help identify market opportunities, help manage day-to-day product performance, and coordinate cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to market. You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Graphics, and the Data teams, to ensure Brimar’s products meet customer expectations, adhere to standards, and deliver profitable growth. This position requires curiosity, organization, and initiative.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategy & Planning

• Help conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities within the safety and identification industry.
• Help develop and maintain a clear Product Roadmap for each division, aligned with business goals.
• Assist in building and presenting business cases to stakeholders for new products or portfolio improvements.

Product Development & Execution

• Help the manager drive assigned product projects from concept through launch.
• Work closely with sourcing and manufacturing to assess feasibility, cost, and profitability.
• Assist in develop and maintain detailed product specifications and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Product Management & Optimization

• Monitor existing product lines for performance, profitability, and market relevance.
• Identify and analyze declining products, determine root causes, and recommend next steps.
• Stay current with compliance, safety standards, and industry regulations to ensure ongoing product conformity.
• Track and report on key KPIs—sales, margin, and inventory—to ensure portfolio health.
• Collaborate with the Data team to ensure all product information (descriptions, pricing, promotional materials) is accurate and compelling.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Expertise

• Serve as the product expert for assigned divisions—understanding specifications, applications, and competitive positioning.
• Provide product knowledge, training, and launch support to Sales and Marketing teams.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to align objectives, streamline workflows, and ensure timely product delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Brimar’s product management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Ideally 2+ years of experience in product management, merchandising, or project coordination—preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or e-commerce environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP, PIM pr PLM systems a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for understanding how products are made, marketed, and improved.
