Job DetailsJob Location: YWCA Central Massachusetts - Worcester, MA 01608Education Level: NoneSalary Range: $30.00 - $30.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: EveningsJob Category: OtherJob Description The YWCA is hiring a Fitness Instructor for Fitness in the Parks Summer Series. Worcester Fitness in the Parks is a free, 12-week program that's all about moving and getting healthy in the great outdoors! The program runs from June to August, Mondays through Saturdays. The YWCA is looking for a fitness instructor to run a 45-minute class or program at a park in Worcester once a week. Examples of class or activities could be Yoga, Pilates, Ultimate Frisbee and Pickle Ball.  Location, day and times to be discussed.   Responsibilities Design, develop and implement program within designated discipline ( Fitness/ specialized programs), as appropriate to keep participants interest. Conduct classes according to certification standards and with the highest regard for differences in abilities to ensure the safety of participants.. Direct and educate participants to the equipment, correct form, and proper use. Help with the collection of attendance and registration of participants. Report any problems or concerns expressed by participants to supervisor ensuring effective resolution and follow-through. Attend trainings, meetings, and perform other duties as requested by the Coordinator. Qualifications Certification in the designated discipline as required, or relevant experience  All Instructors must have the ability to relate to people of diverse skill levels and interest Excellent personal and customer relation skills are required CPR certification must be attained during first 6 months of employment
