With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we offer a range of options, including Made in the USA products from our Texas factory.  Reports to: Senior Vice President of Creative    The Role:  We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team. As the Product Development Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Product Development department by overseeing sample organization, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data entry, and providing general assistance to ensure the successful development of our branded, licensed and private label headwear. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience.    Major Duties & Responsibilities:  Manage product samples across the lifecycle, including tracking, collection, labeling, organization, and seasonal archiving in the control sample room.  Oversee quality control of headwear samples, ensuring they meet brand standards before production.  Act as the primary liaison with vendors, communicating timelines, deliverables, and updates.  Coordinate asset handoffs and sample photography with Marketing, Product Development, and external agencies.  Partner with cross-functional teams (design, production, sourcing, marketing) to track action items, gather product details, and ensure project alignment.  Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data in the PLM system, clarifying specifications with teams to support a smooth transition into production.  Demonstrate ownership and accountability by operating with minimal oversight while supporting other departmental needs as required.  Building and maintaining robust, detailed, and accurate product and component tech packs  Supporting the organization and development of product, trims, components, and presentation tools Reviewing and commenting on counter samples, components, trims, pre-production, and TOPs.  Support with other departmental duties as required.    Requirements & Qualifications:     Experience: 3+ years of product development experience.  PowerPoint and Excel PLM experience (Blue Cherry, Flex PLM, Centric, or Bamboo Rose, etc.) Basic photo editing skills (removing backgrounds, minor lighting/exposure adjustments, file conversion etc.).  Passion for process development and adherence to timeline/calendars Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and adjust to business needs Flexibility and ability to wear multiple hats as needed.  Team player with strong collaborative approach  Good communication skills  Strong sense of urgency  Ability to manage multiple projects and shine under pressure.  Highly organized and detail oriented.  Known for honesty, integrity, self-awareness, and a solid work ethic  Nice to Have: Superior Color Vision/Color Acuity Bilingual English and Spanish Basic awareness and knowledge of Adobe CC (Creative Cloud) programs:  Photoshop/Lightroom Adobe Illustrator   Why Join Dorfman Milano?   100+ years of history in the headwear industry, join a company with a legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.  Work in a collaborative environment that values strategic problem-solving and innovation.  Competitive salary and benefits package.
