Job Title: Quality Technician

Department: Quality

Position Description: Support position with primary responsibilities focused upon development, organization, and maintenance of the document control system and quality reporting system; and the coordination of sample submission activities.

Primary Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

-Organize and maintain the document control system.

-Coordinate the development of information supporting production part submission activities.

-Coordinate facility calibration activities and maintain the supporting calibration database.

-Support customer requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

-Assist in development and implementation of supporting quality system documentation.

-Assist in processing of Change Request and initiation of system updates and changes, as required.

-Assist in development, organization, and maintenance of the quality reporting system.

-Participate in quality system internal auditor activities.

-Maintain the color chip file.

-Perform and document Color Testing.

-Provide backup, as needed, for Quality Administrator

Other Requirements:

-Associate’s degree or 2 years of quality experience.

-Proficient use of personal computers and computer operation within a network environment.

-Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.

-Ability to develop documents such as work and packaging instructions and general quality system docs.

- Perform intermediate math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.
