Job Description

  

Teledyne Micropac is looking for a Test Operator. Under the direction of the Test Supervisor must be able to execute and perform routine assembly functions. 

What you'll do

Will be required to cooperate and work efficiently with other employees to carry out specific detailed instructions. Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and attention to detail is needed for this role.  Willing to train candidate that demonstrates a willingness to learn new skills and accept new job assignments as required.

The essential functions and key responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Laser part marking
  • Ink part marking (involves the use of chemicals)
  • Solder Dipping (involves the use of chemicals)
  • Serialization
  • Testing parts
  • PIND testing
  • If overtime is necessary, reasonable efforts will be made to provide employees with adequate advance notice, however, sometimes overtime may be mandatory.
  • Other assignments when needed

What you need

  • High school diploma or GED - required

  • 1–2 years of related assembly experience or training - advantage

  • Basic computer skills are a necessity - required
  • Must be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and accept new assignment - required 
  • The ability to read engineer drawings and complete paperwork - required
  • Must possess an excellent attendance and work record - required
  • Strong ability to problem solving - required
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact in a team environment - required
  • Have demonstrated leadership ability, good organizational and communication skills - advantage
