Job Description:

SUMMARY:

Maintenance Planner I is predominantly involved in planning and scheduling maintenance activities, and creating, evaluating, implementing and continuously improving Andersen Enterprise maintenance processes.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In conjunction with Maintenance and Engineering Supervision, develop complete work plans for small projects/sub projects, including sequenced activities and coordination of multiple trades.

Process all maintenance and cross-departmental requisitions for projects or materials through EAM application

Process weekly/monthly reports as requested

Maintain Central Stores inventory levels that meet the needs of production levels yet are cost effective, utilizing on-demand planning tools; including MRO inventory

Analyze inventory reorder points and quantities and make adjustments based on needs and history.

Work with vendors managing leased parts contracts, evaluates pricing and makes recommendations as needed to introduce new suppliers.

Coordinate vendor scheduling of small routine facilities maintenance projects

Participate in discussions with plant financial analyst around monthly budgeted spend variations

Coordinate outbound shipment of maintenance components


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Adaptability/Flexibility

Interpersonal abilities: able to relate to co-workers, inspire others, mitigate conflict

Able to work independently towards completion of specifically defined events, including the latitude to coordinate activities outside the immediate work areas and change personal priorities in order to carry out assignments.

Computer proficient - demonstrate basic computer skills and continuing development

Excel - Develop skill sets to organize measurement data into charts and graphs

Word, PowerPoint

Outlook - Maintain email, Organize and set up meetings

Technical degree or relevant experience

Ability to identify and apply best practice planning and scheduling techniques, coordinating machine availability with Supply Chain team

Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities based on data regarding equipment reliability, work performance, schedule compliance, material usage, and other metrics pertinent to areas of responsibilities.

Extensive knowledge of MRO materials, sources of materials and services required to support areas of responsibility


MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
2-5 years of experience working in maintenance and/or parts management in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Demonstrated skills with a 4-year degree and 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; preferably working within a CMMS system

Strong knowledge of maintenance, repair and operational parts

Demonstrates ability to source total cost estimates for intermediate projects and events.


NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
PIT certified

Strong prioritization and multi-tasking capability

Strong aptitude in problem-solving and process improvement

Ability to articulate problems and solutions verbally


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for 8 hours

Must be able to lift 40 lbs

Pay Range:

$68,480.00 - $102,720.00

**PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
