Job Description:
SUMMARY:Primary focus is on learning the multi-skilled maintenance trade through assignments and formal learning focus on developing maintenance skills and abilities. This is a technical occupation that an employee will be in a technical position and required to continue their education in a trade.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
LOTO Trained and Deviation Permit Process
Understand basic concepts of electricity including voltage, current and resistance
Understand and operate a volt-ohm-millimeters (VOM) and non-contact voltage testers to properly test for energized electrical circuits.
Understand the basics of electrical machine controls
Understand mechanical fastener types, application and installation procedures.
Handle, dispense and apply various types of lubricants. Understands types, properties storage, handling and application of basic lubricants and the use of typical lubricant charts.
Understand hydraulic valve configuration, operations and components.
Understand pneumatic valve configuration, operation and component.
Weld, braze, solder and cut metal
Understand basic components of blueprints including scales, symbols and dimensions
Understand mechanical fastener types, application and installation procedures. Select and install various types of fasteners
Handle, dispense and apply various types of lubricants
Understand types, properties, storage, handling and application of basic lubricants, and the use of typical lubricant charts
Understand basic machine shop skills and machine safety
Understand and participate in TPM initiatives.
Must be adaptable to working in dangerous situations (vaults, scaffolding), heavy equipment, and in all climates
Transport and safely store oxygen and acetylene cylinders
Use block and tackle, chain hoists, slings, levelers, come-alongs, jacks, and winches to lift or move equipment
Inspect heavy lifting hardware and cranes, and help perform heavy lifting jobs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY
Must be able to stand for 8 hours
Must be able to occasionally lift 100 lbs.
Some heavy lifting required to replace motors, pumps, extruder screws, etc. at low frequency. Equipment is provided to move/manipulate heavy components
Requires repetitive action such as simple starting, grasping, firm grasping and fine manipulating.
Outside work required
High work form, ladders and platforms
Working in confined space conditions
Handling hazardous waste wearing the appropriate PPE
Working near energized electric circuits
Working near/on hot equipment/materials
Pay Range:

**PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
