JOB SUMMARY:  

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily maintenance operations. Providing team members with training, instruction, tools, and the direction they need to successfully maintain equipment and facilities. 

1:30PM-10 PM 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.  

  • Directly supervises maintenance and technicians.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance
  • As needed, provide counseling or disciplinary action in adherence with Company policies.
  • Monitor equipment, oversee repair tasks and preventive maintenance program to ensure ongoing hatchery performance
  • Work in conjunction with production, trucking, and other departments to coordinate projects and handle issues

 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • High school education or GED. Some post high school education is strongly desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: 

Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 

  • Effective professional communication skills to both hourly and managerial personnel.
  • This position would require daily operational discussions requiring the ability to communicate to team members of multiple languages basic English should be required with bilingual skills desired.
