JOB SUMMARY:  

Supervises Debone and coordinates activities of production workers to produce orders from Customer Service. Assumes accountability and responsibility for achieving production goals, food safety, safe operation, team development, and product quality. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.  

• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.  

• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.  

• Interprets job orders to workers and assigns duties.  

• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.  

• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.  

• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. 

• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. 

• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records.  

• Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.  

• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Performs activities of workers supervised. 


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Supervise and train your people so that they’re fully capable of implementing the Company’s policies and procedures. Regularly meet with them to evaluate their performance. Establish a yearly educational plan for each employee based on their needs. Perform annual personnel evaluation and recommend goals. 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
