At Bell & Evans, we’ve built our reputation on doing things the right way — from quality and food safety to how we continuously improve the way we work. We’re looking for an Industrial Engineer who thrives at the intersection of data, people, and the production floor, and who wants to lead meaningful, engineering-driven improvements across our operations.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, partnering closely with Operations, and turning analysis into real, visible change.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, prioritize, and drive process improvement opportunities across manufacturing and support operations
  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity modeling to inform labor planning and operational decisions
  • Design and optimize facility layouts, material flow, work instructions, and standard work to improve productivity and consistency
  • Partner closely with Operations, QA, Food Safety, and Safety to ensure improvements are practical, compliant, and sustainable
  • Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects, from problem definition through implementation and follow-up
  • Translate data into clear recommendations, business cases, and action plans for leadership
  • Serve as a project lead on major improvement initiatives, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coach and mentor other Industrial Engineers and team members on IE tools, lean concepts, and structured problem solving
  • Develop and deliver presentations, training sessions, and visual tools that support change adoption on the floor

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a hands-on, people-oriented engineer who enjoys being close to the work and influencing outcomes. You’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations excellence

  • Strong working knowledge of time studies, layout optimization, capacity planning, and lean manufacturing principles

  • Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, production-focused settings — this is not a desk-only role

  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (AutoCAD or layout tools a plus)

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across levels of the organization

  • A practical mindset - you can balance data, constraints, and people to drive results

  • A collaborative and supportive team environment

  • Opportunities to lead high-impact projects shaping our operational future

  • Competitive pay and benefits
