Test Engineer - SME - TGBB

LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL

TRAVEL: 20% CONUS / OCONUS TDYs

Oasis Sysems is seeking a SME-level Test Engineer to provide engineering-related duties to execute test and evaluation of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems and precision guided munitions (PGM) seekers/sensors against a variety of foreign mobile targets for Project Chicken Little (PCL), 46th Test Squadron Seekers and defensive Systems Test Flight, Eglin AFB, Florida. The 46th Test Squadron conducts seeker, sensor, and target Test and Evaluation for Air Force and DoD programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• This contract does not have specific education or experiece qualification requirements, however, for the SME level we typically see a Master's Degree with at least 10 years of experience.A SME is typically identified as a recognized Industry leader for a given area of expertise.
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD security clearance
• Relevant technical experience and knowledge in Test and Evaluation.
• Must be able to effectively communicate orally and possess technical writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team and lead/direct the work of others.
• Proficiency in the use and integration of MS Office applications.
• Must be able to travel to required meetings (e.g., Program Management Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, Engineering Design Reviews, Test Planning, and other enterprise/program meetings), CONUS and OCONUS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS  

• Extensive knowledge and experience with radio frequency, millimeter wave, electro-optical, and infrared phenomenology’s, as well as mobile target signature management methods.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• A current and active Top Secret security clearance is highly desired.
  
  

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and write methods of tests, test cases, test cards/procedures, test directives, technical or letter reports, test objectives, analysis and review of requirements, and any other test process documents as required in the conduct of test and evaluation.
• Assists in the development of system requirements, functional capabilities, performance measures, design constraints, test phase entry/exit criteria, and metrics.
• Leads the coordination of test facilities and resources, and execution of tests and target test data collection efforts in support of PCL and the Sensors and Defensive Systems Test Flight.
• Provides Subject Matter Expertise on Test Design for seekers/sensors, and targets.
• Develops and communicate test findings to customers via test reports and/or technical briefings.
• Provides test data to various target signature databases.
