About the Position:
The Same Day Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care and clinical support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for all patients. This position serves as a critical first point of contact for walk-in patients, offering patient-centered care, clinical advice, and education to promote optimal outcomes and appropriate use of healthcare resources. The RN assesses patients’ health concerns through in-person, telephone, or electronic communication, determines the urgency of their conditions, and guides them to the appropriate level of care. Working collaboratively with providers and the healthcare team, the RN delivers professional nursing care that includes assessment, treatment, care planning, and evaluation. This role promotes wellness and coordinates comprehensive nursing care for patients of all ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses.
What we are looking for:
Education and Experience:
Minimum
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience preferred.Â
Preferred:
- Previous RN triage experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Epic strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare technology, equipment, and supplies.
