Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, tankers, and other various types of commercial vehicles.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

 

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, tankers, and fleet equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, and ABS systems
  • Complete annual/FHWA inspections on commercial vehicles
  • Troubleshoot lighting and electrical issues using diagnostic software and tools
  • Assist with trailer repairs, light fabrication, body work, and component replacements
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required paperwork
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment while following all EHS and DOT regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Do you have what it takes?

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience working on heavy-duty trucks or equipment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must provide your own tools
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle maintenance
  • Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office products for diagnostics and documentation
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work in an active industrial environment
  • ASE certifications, brake/A/C certifications, or hydraulic system experience are a plus
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
