Job Summary

The Intern will support daily operations within the assigned department by assisting with tasks, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, allowing the intern to develop technical, analytical, and professional skills while contributing to IFAB’s operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the department team with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data to support decision-making and process improvements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, or documentation as required.
  • Support workflow coordination between departments when needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and quality.
  • Assist in tracking KPIs, metrics, and general performance indicators.
  • Follow all IFAB safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.

Requirements

Education:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Associate degree program (Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, or related field).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in manufacturing and process improvement.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions.
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing floor and office settings.
  • May require standing, walking, or lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Standard Monday–Friday schedule; hours may vary based on school requirements.
