They are our ambassadors of adventure, entertainment, magic, and excitement, providing a memorable representation of the experiences to be had at Anakeesta!  Responsibilities  Provide guest service that exceeds expectations  Must be knowledgeable of all activities, able to assist guests in selecting the most appropriate activities taking into consideration their family size, ages, and length of stay  Strong verbal communication skills  Conduct smooth transactions through Anakeesta’s POS (Point of Sale) systems  Sells General admission tickets, zip-line tickets, vouchers, online admission ticket purchases, online zipline adventure purchases, Annual Passes, special events, etc.  Scanning of park entrance tickets including online purchases  Ability to provide low level resolution regarding guest issues and escalate to the Guest Services Supervisor or Guest Services Manager, when appropriate  Respond to guest inquiries and provide directions to specific areas, information regarding special events, operating hours, etc.  Maintain cleanliness of working area as well as the surrounding Parkway; this includes picking up debris left by guests (empty cups, napkins, brochures, etc.) and mother nature (sticks, leaves, branches, etc.)  Ensure that all supplies are well-stocked at the beginning and end of day  Communicate with other team members to ensure up-to-date information is always provided to guests  Ensures Brochure racks are stocked with Anakeesta Brochures, and communicates to Guest Services Supervisor when more are needed  Other duties as assigned  Qualifications 16 years of age or older  Proficient communication skills.  Relevant work experience in sales, guest services in the hospitality, theme park or travel/tourism market preferred  Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment, have a sense of urgency to complete projects and be detail oriented required  Professional, friendly, and a positive-solution oriented attitude required  Available to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays    Physical Requirements  Able to lift up to 25 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl   Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on uneven ground  Must be able to sit at a desk and computer workstation for up to 8 hrs a day  Able to work in all-weather conditions.  Must be able to safely lift, carry, and move materials independently and with team assistance when necessary.  Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching overhead.  Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and stairs.  Ability to safely handle heavy, bulky, or awkward items using proper lifting techniques and assistance as needed.  Capable of working in a physically demanding environment with frequent movement and manual labor activities.      Perks   Work with an enthusiastic team and create lasting memories  Free parking  Competitive pay  Paid time off  Medical, dental, and vision Insurance  Life insurance  401K  Free admission for employees and their immediate family  Employee discounts on food and merchandise  Generous pass exchange program with area attractions        If you believe you meet the qualifications above and have an interest in joining the Anakeesta team, please apply online – thanks for your interest!
