Job DetailsJob Location: Fairmount - Fairmount , NY 13219Position Type: Per DiemEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $17.50 - $18.75 Hourly1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Fairmount NY (AN –OS) A 9-year-old female in the Fairmount area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist her with, money management, being active in her community, and help her with choosing activities to her liking. With her free time, she likes to go swimming work on puzzles, and play and hang out at the park with her siblings.   The ideal candidate is willing to work with verbally aggressive behaviors, is willing to verbally encourage behaviors to stop and may even use physical force to prevent self-injuries.The ideal candidate must be willing to follow if elopement occurs and communicates well with parents. The ideal candidate must be  creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations.   This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.   Looking for 2-3 days a week, Monday-Thursday is flexible on days   Starting pay is $17.50/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.   Location: Fairmount/Syracuse NY. Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license  Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
