Salary Range: $87,800 - $116,300
Job Summary:
Â
Provides technical expertise in reliability engineering; develops and implements projects to improve plant reliability and asset utilization via standardization. Â Manages plant mechanical integrity program to ensure compliance with Arkema and regulatory requirements. Position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Essential Duties:
Â
Reliability and Mechanical Integrity 60%
•   Develops and maintains activities in support of the Mechanical Integrity standard which includes pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping, pressure relieving devices, emergency shutdown systems, controls, and high energy equipment.Â
•   Performs reliability studies on existing equipment and recommends needed improvements in the areas of equipment philosophies, strategies and best practices for asset productivity; creating Predictive Maintenance plans.Â
•   Updates equipment records, determine required spare parts, and maintain accurate SAP Bill of Materials.Â
•   Develops/Implements reliability procedures and prepares reports on equipment reliability on periodic basis.Â
Continuous Improvement 20%Â
•   Provides ownership and continual improvement of plant Mechanical integrity practices and proceduresÂ
•   Establishes effective preventive and predictive monitoring and maintenance techniques to identify and define abnormal operating conditions.Â
•   Provides technical expertise in regards to job plan development, equipment critical path, job scopes, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.Â
•   Defines root cause failure analysis (RCFA) trigger points and uses DMAIC process to appropriate reliability tools to develop and implement corrective improvement plans.
•   Defines and approves repairs to service equipment, potentially including audit and evaluation of contracted repair organizations, and inspection of repair work.
•   Manages assigned capitol projects, project budgets and project records ; develops early stage project evaluation including layout, cost estimates, engineering feasibility and bid packages.
Energy Champion – 15%
•   Leads continuous improvement of site’s energy efficiency as Plant Energy Manager
Safety – 5%
•   Performs Management of Change (MOC) reviews for area of technical expertise.
•   Supports the site HESQ policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
•   Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, etc.)
•   Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incident

MInimimum Qualifications:
•  5 Years manufacturing experience in maintenance/reliability, preferably in the chemcial industryÂ
•   BS Degree in Mechanical EngineeringÂ
•   API Certification preferred
Â
Competencies:
•   Experience with reliability tools such as RDFA, FMEA, Weibull analysis, statistical analysis, etc.
•   Knowledge of applicable use of Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering PRactices includes ASME, API, ASTM
