Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, repairs and operates all building electrical support equipment and maintenance tools and equipment. Assists in the installation of facilities equipment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Minimum:
• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Electrician Training.
Preferred:
• Additional training in engineering technologies.
LICENSE:
Minimum:
• Valid NYS driver's license consistent with FLH Motor Vehicle Policy
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
• Three years Electrician experience.
Preferred:
• Five or more years Electrician experience.
SKILLS:
Minimum:
• Must be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Computer literacy.
