Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Minimum:
• High school education or equivalent
Preferred:
• College degree


LICENSE:

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or become certified within 6 months of date of hire.
• BLS certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.


WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
• Experience in long term care setting
Preferred:
• Activities experience or CNA training


SKILLS:
Minimum:
• Demonstrate a basic knowledge about recreational activities
Preferred:
• Knowledge of common physical and mental disorders of the long term care resident
• knowledge of activities programs and interventions
