Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Minimum:
• Graduate from a Registered Professional Nursing Program.
Preferred:
• BSN


LICENSE:
Minimum:
• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license


PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
Preferred:
• Certification in MDS and PRI
Minimum:
• BLS through RQI upon hire


WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
• Familiarity with documentation requirements for reimbursement.
• Knowledge of New York State Department of Health regulations, and survey process.
• MDS, and care planning experience.


SKILLS:
Minimum:
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Computer literacy
Preferred:
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and MDS/care planning software
