OSCO Industries, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor. This individual will ensure that all maintenance and service functions at the facility are carried out properly, safely, and promptly to maintain production and quality.

Duties

• Ensure all maintenance activities at the facility are appropriately carried out.
• Interacting with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems at the facility.
• Inspects maintenance work for completeness and accuracy.
• Allocates personnel and equipment as needed.
• Trains maintenance staff and evaluates their performance.
• Comply with all OSHA and corporate safety rules and regulations.
• Keeps a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintains a cycle of the same.
• Determines the need for repair and replacement parts to maintain equipment functionality.
• Ensure all company, city, state, and federal rules, laws, and regulations are followed.
• Should have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
• Good leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members are required.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance work, including sitting, standing, walking, driving, climbing, bending/stooping, kneeling, crawling/crouching, lifting, carrying, etc.


Requirements

• High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree in engineering, or any other similar discipline with about 2 – 3 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor preferred.
• Technical training is also preferred in the areas of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics and other related fields. Formal training may be considered as substitution for experience requirements.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics will also contribute to success in the maintenance supervisor position.
