Program Director / Lead Facilitator – Culinary Nutrition Coach (CNC) Course

Why This Role Matters

This is not a traditional program director role.

We are building more than a course—we are developing elite coaches who can change lives through nutrition, behavior, and human connection.

This role owns the student experience, ensuring every participant leaves not just with knowledge—but with the confidence, presence, and skill to coach in the real world.

If you are someone who can lead a room, develop people, and translate knowledge into action, this is your opportunity to do work that matters.

The Opportunity

As the Program Director / Lead Facilitator, you will serve as the central leader of the Culinary Nutrition Coach (CNC) program—owning delivery, facilitation, and overall program experience.

You will operate as the integrator across disciplines, bringing together nutrition, culinary practice, farming, and entrepreneurship into one cohesive, high-impact learning experience.

This is a hands-on, in-person leadership role that requires presence, energy, and a coaching-first mindset.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Experience

  • Own the end-to-end student experience during program delivery

  • Facilitate large-group sessions, discussions, and coaching practice

  • Set the tone for professionalism, engagement, and accountability

Develop Coaches (Not Just Students)

  • Teach and model behavior-change coaching principles

  • Guide students through real-world application of nutrition coaching

  • Reinforce communication, ethics, and scope of practice

Integrate the Curriculum

  • Serve as the “glue” across faculty (dietitian, chef, farmer, and entrepreneurship)

  • Ensure all content connects back to coaching application and real-life use

  • Translate complex concepts into practical, usable skills

Coach & Mentor

  • Provide high-touch mentorship and feedback to students

  • Support development of confidence, identity, and professionalism

  • Create an environment of trust, growth, and transformation

Drive Program Excellence

  • Continuously improve the program through feedback and iteration

  • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with UHP standards

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver a seamless experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in coaching, behavior change, or human performance

  • Ability to lead with presence, energy, and clarity in a room

  • Experience working with adult learners or cohort-based programs

  • Strong communication skills with a coaching-first approach (not lecture-heavy)

Preferred

  • Background in nutrition, health coaching, fitness, or wellness

  • Experience integrating multiple disciplines into one learning experience

  • Experience working with Veterans or mission-driven populations

  • NBC-HWC certification (or willingness to obtain through UHP)

  • Experience supporting entrepreneurship or client-based coaching model

What This Role Requires

  • Full-time, in-person presence in Northwest Arkansas

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends during programs

  • Ability to operate in a high-energy, immersive environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid time off
