Battery Production Engineer
Location: Georgetown, KY
Schedule: 100% onsite
Travel: Up to 50% domestic/international

Position Summary
We are seeking a Battery Pack Assembly Engineer to support production equipment development, installation, and launch activities for North American production sites. This role will work closely with Site Teams and Global Teams to support equipment specifications, vendor fabrication, installation planning, equipment confirmation, and countermeasures during setup and production trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Battery Pack Assembly equipment development processes with Site Teams and Global Teams
- Assist in developing equipment specifications for vendor fabrication
- Support development and confirmation of equipment, conveyor, logistics, and team member interactions
- Monitor and track equipment design, fabrication, and confirmation activities
- Support and lead equipment installation planning and specification development for North American production sites
- Support and lead equipment installation and confirmation activities at North American production sites
- Support and lead equipment countermeasures during setup and production trials
- Travel to suppliers and NAMCs across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, with occasional international travel including Japan
- Work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays, to support installation and launch schedules
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
- 2+ years of experience with production equipment procurement, installation, and/or confirmation
- 6+ months of AutoCAD / Autodesk experience, including the ability to read, interpret, and modify 2D drawings
- 6+ months of CATIA or equivalent 3D CAD software experience, including the ability to read, interpret, and modify 3D drawings
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Ability to support multiple shifts, weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and 12-hour workdays as needed
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Battery Pack Assembly processes
- Experience with Assembly or Body Weld equipment procurement or confirmation
- TBP Panel Completion
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Robot experience in 3D automation
- DELMIA experience
