Position Description:Â
The Client Services Specialist collaborates with internal and external clients (in the K-12 market and cities) to facilitate billing, bill reconciliation, work through discrepancy reports, and generate payroll reports and assist with payroll imports, as well as develop client relationships and the company's benefit & CRM system.  ‘The Client Services Specialist (CSS) collaborates with our internal team and external clients to facilitate billing, bill reconciliation, working through discrepancy reports and supporting payroll. The CSS will also assist with payroll files and imports while developing client relationships and working within our enrollment and CRM platforms.’ Assists the sales team with providing product options in core and voluntary benefits. Other duties include assisting sales and marketing with enrollments, preparing spreadsheets and marketing materials, preparing memorandums, emails and other communications in support of the regional sales manager and the Central Texas sales team. The position will be assigned to a company car and will travel to various client locations including Austin, Georgetown, Waco and other areas in the region. Occasionally, they will source, develop, soft sell, promote, market, and administer insurance products, and administrative services of FFGA.
Qualifications
- 2 years proven track record in customer service.
- 2 years of Administrative Assistant experience.
- Must have Group One Life and Health License or be able to obtain in 90 days.
- Willing to travel 20% - 30% within regional area for client meetings. Some overnight might be required but minimal.Â
- Strong customer service skills and a proven track record of handling sensitive client information (HIPAA, PHI & PI).
- Must have proven oral & written communication, as well as presentation skills through work.
- Must have strong knowledge and work experience using Excel, Word & Outlook.
- High school diploma required or equivalency required (GED).
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years experience of work experience related to core benefits like medical, Rx, dental, vision, disability and life insurance.Â
- Knowledge of general benefit plan terminology
- Knowledge of the public sector market such as the K – 12 market and cities and counties.
- Bilingual in Spanish very helpful but not required

Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearances and successfully complete a thorough background check.
