SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the Security Shift Supervisor, ensures the safety and protection of casino patrons, employees and assets in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.聽 Provides emergency medical assistance and first aid to patrons and employees, as needed; within the scope of EMT certification and training. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Attends and participates in all security briefings and staff meetings.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Patrols gaming floor, conducts checks for open machines, floor bank, drop doors and lot checks; identifies and reports suspicious activities to appropriate personnel.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists in training and development of newly hired staff.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs all lobby duties, verifies age of patrons, opens doors, checks suspicious packages and identifies intoxicated patrons.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Verifies fills, jackpot winnings and credits for accuracy; transports money, chips, tokens and markers.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Controls access to restricted areas; checks for and reports all safety hazards.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs inspections on a routine, daily, and monthly basis to include inspecting signs, aisles, walkways, fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists patrons with vehicle lockouts, lost and found and safety issues.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures employees adhere to all gaming policies and procedures; reports any violations to appropriate personnel.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Controls emergency situations, which may include resetting alarms, evacuation and/or shutdown of building.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conducts initial investigations by interviewing and obtaining written statements from customers/employees; completes a thorough and accurate report in a timely manner.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Completes and verifies gaming paperwork, departmental logs, reports and parking violations.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Communicates with other security personnel using two-way radios according to established codes and procedures.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversees the Lost and Found program by ensuring that all items found are bagged and tagged and accounted for through written documentation.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Confers with representatives of local government to ensure cooperation and coordination of Casino activities with law enforcement and firefighting agencies.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Acts as EMT as required; responds to emergency medical situations, administers first aid treatments, assists paramedics and other emergency medical service personnel; provides emergency medical care to casino patrons, administering first aid and artificial respiration to injured persons and those overcome by a life-threatening emergency.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs other duties as required.聽

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High School Diploma or GED
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 One (1) year of security experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have a current EMT License (required).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 One (1) year experience as an EMT (preferred).聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complete and maintain CPR, AED, TIPS and First Aid certifications.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to become certified Emergency Medical Technician by the State of LA.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with co-workers at all levels and guest of varying social and cultural backgrounds.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work independently and meet strict time lines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of tribal, federal, and state gaming, criminal, traffic, and civil code and laws. Knowledge of security operations, principles and practices including investigation, patrol, communications, records, community/public relations and crime prevention.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other law enforcement/regulatory agencies, departmental staff, tribal officials, and the public.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Skill in analyzing problems, projecting consequences, identifying solutions and implementing recommendations.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to interpret applicable federal, state, county and local laws, regulations and rules.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for 12 hours or more; walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prolonged standing and walking may be required between buildings and other areas; situations may occur where there is exposure to hazards or physical risk.聽
