If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and creating great experiences for homeowners, this role is for you.As a Garage Door Service Technician, you will install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and openers while recommending solutions and upgrades that improve safety, convenience, and style.Every day is fast-paced and rewarding. You will handle the materials and equipment needed for your jobs, including loading and unloading, and work directly with homeowners throughout Austin and surrounding areas to ensure each project is completed with care and professionalism.If you take pride in your work, enjoy working independently in the field, and want a company that supports your growth, this could be the opportunity for you.

You Will Be Trusted To:

• Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and openers

• Load, unload, and safely handle materials, tools, and equipment for each job

• Provide friendly, professional service and create a positive experience for homeowners

• Recommend upgrades and solutions that improve safety, convenience, functionality, and style

• Troubleshoot issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently

• Work with heavy components while following established safety procedures

• Collaborate with team members to ensure every job is completed correctly and on time

• Travel to customer homes throughout Austin and surrounding communities

You Qualify With:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in installation, repair, construction, home services, or a related field

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in physically active environments

Additional Success

You'll stand out with:

• 1–2 years of experience working with garage doors or garage door systems

• Experience leading installations or completing complex repairs

• Confidence using hand tools, power tools, and related equipment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Previous customer service or in-home service experience
