About the Role:

NBC Orthodontics Incorporated is looking for a passionate and skilled Orthodontic Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team in Georgetown, TX! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced orthodontic professionals in a patient-focused environment where you can truly make a difference in people's smiles every day.

Responsibilities:

Assist the orthodontist chairside during patient examinations, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures
Place and remove orthodontic appliances including brackets, bands, and archwires
Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans (iTero/3D imaging)
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment progress
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control protocols
Update and maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Coordinate with front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling

Requirements:

Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of Texas
Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
Proficiency in taking digital X-rays and intraoral scans
Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, and instruments
Excellent chairside manner with a patient-centered, compassionate approach
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
