We're seeking a hands-on Paint Seibi Technician with experience in robotic paint systems, robot programming, and manufacturing automation. If you enjoy troubleshooting, programming, and improving automated equipment, this is an outstanding opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Program and troubleshoot industrial paint robots including Kawasaki, FANUC, and Yaskawa.
  • Support online robot programming for:
    • Sealer
    • UBC (Under Body Coating)
    • Dampening
    • Primer
    • Base Coat
    • Clear Coat
  • Perform robot trials, optimize parameters, and improve process performance.
  • Evaluate paint quality using engineering drawings and quality standards.
  • Create offline robot programs using simulation software.
  • Perform reach studies and cycle time analysis.
  • Utilize quality inspection equipment including:
    • Elcometer
    • Wave-Scan
    • X-Rite
  • Create process handover documentation and robot process snapshots.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to support new model launches and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience programming industrial robots:
    • Kawasaki
    • FANUC
    • Yaskawa
  • Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications
  • Working knowledge of PLCs such as:
    • Toyopuc
    • Allen-Bradley
    • Omron
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with:
    • CATIA
    • DELMIA
    • SolidWorks
    • Inventor
  • Additional automation or robotics certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
