Job Summary
The Tennis Pro Shop Assistant supports the daily operations of the tennis facility by providing exceptional service to members, assisting with retail sales, and ensuring the pro shop is organized, stocked, and welcoming. This role plays an important part in enhancing the overall member experience through professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong hospitality mindset.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner and provide personalized serviceÂ
- Assist with retail sales, including apparel, equipment, and accessoriesÂ
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions accurately and efficientlyÂ
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the pro shopÂ
- Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management as directedÂ
- Help create and maintain attractive merchandise displaysÂ
- Answer phone calls, assist with court bookings, and manage reservationsÂ
- Provide information on tennis programs, clinics, and eventsÂ
- Support tennis professionals with daily operations, events, and tournamentsÂ
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the pro shop
