Radiology Aide

A Brief Overview
The Radiology Aide assists daily with maintaining the appropriate level of department flow.
What you will do
- Performs the input of OP physician orders into Diagnostic Imaging’s ITS module.
- Prints films and CDs needed by patients to further their medical care.
- Answers and routes phone calls.
- Assists transporting patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department as needed.
- Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records.
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Qualifications
- Previous medical experience preferred. Moderate computer skills necessary.
Skills and Abilities
- Computer, reading, writing, organizational, and communication skills
- General safety skill.
- Previous direct patient care skills Preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required
