Radiology Aide

A Brief Overview
The Radiology Aide assists daily with maintaining the appropriate level of department flow.

What you will do
  • Performs the input of OP physician orders into Diagnostic Imaging’s ITS module.
  • Prints films and CDs needed by patients to further their medical care.
  • Answers and routes phone calls.
  • Assists transporting patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department as needed.
  • Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records.

Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Qualifications
  • Previous medical experience preferred. Moderate computer skills necessary.

Skills and Abilities
  • Computer, reading, writing, organizational, and communication skills
  • General safety skill.
  • Previous direct patient care skills Preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required
