We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our Distribution team. The Inventory Control Specialist will conduct cycle counts on a daily basis, bin validations, appropriate system research and transactions to document root cause of inventory discrepancies while assisting all departments.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform random cycle counts of product on a daily basis based on ABC classification. 
  • Reconcile variances found during the cycle counts and make corrections.
  • Compile inventory accuracy detail based on the cycle counting. 
  • Reconcile negative inventory issues and discrepancies.
  • Provide feedback to appropriate functional groups on gaps to inventory control compliance issues for quick resolution and permanent corrective actions. 
  • Lead and participate in projects/kaizen events for continuous improvement in inventory control and material transactions.
  • Operate forklift and scissor lift during daily duties.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks as required.
  • Correctly use inventory control system to move product between locations.
  • Complete daily scan gun audits. 


What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player.
  • Strong computer skills and basic understanding of ERP and the production process. 
  • Prior work experience in inventory control and cycle counting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous shipping and receiving experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and ability to change priorities quickly and remain positive.
  • Customer focused with a strong aptitude for quickly learning part numbers.
