Description
• Manage and oversee the end-to-end payroll process to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll administration. • Review, approve, and validate payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. • Assist with payroll processing and provide hands-on support during payroll cycles. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, tax, wage, and hour, and labor regulations. • Oversee payroll tax filings, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and year-end payroll activities (e.g., W-2s, P60s, T4s, or equivalents). • Develop, implement, and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls to support operational efficiency and compliance. • Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues, discrepancies, and employee inquiries. • Lead payroll audits and coordinate responses to internal and external audit requests. • Partner with HR on new hires, terminations, compensation changes, benefits administration, leaves of absence, and employee data management. • Manage payroll system administration, including ADP Workforce Now maintenance, testing, upgrades, and process improvements. • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency. • Supervise, train, mentor, and develop payroll staff while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. • Prepare and analyze payroll reports, metrics, and analytics for leadership and Finance. • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of payroll and employee information. • Other duties as assigned. • Regular and predictable attendance. • Ability to work cooperatively with others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration is required. • 7 to 10 years of progressive payroll experience required, including payroll leadership or management responsibilities. • Extensive experience managing payroll operations for multi-state and/or multi-entity organizations. • Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now and HRIS platforms required. • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, wage and hour laws, and statutory compliance requirements. • Experience managing payroll audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. • Demonstrated experience leading payroll process improvements and system implementations or upgrades
