Refer a friend who’d be a great fit for One GI® and earn a special bonus when they join the team!   A typical day as an Ultrasound Tech: Full Time: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no weekends, no holidays) Operate ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of various areas of the body.  Interpret and analyze diagnostic images to provide preliminary findings for physicians.  Maintain patient records, reports, and other administrative tasks.  Monitor screen during scan to ensure that the image produced is satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.  Adjust equipment controls as per the physician’s order to capture a clear image.  Maintain ultrasound equipment and sterilize the room in which the procedure takes place.  Determine whether scope of exam should be extended, based on findings.  Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals.   The Must Haves: High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Associate degree in Sonography preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required  Professional certification in American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required.  Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required.  AAS in Radiologic Technology required.  Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment  Understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology  Ability to interpret ultrasound images.  Familiarity with patient management systems  Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards  Ability to perform minor maintenance on ultrasound equipment.  Qualifications
