911 TELECOMMUNICATOR

This position acts as the control point for all communications and information for the police, fire, EMA, and EMS operations.  Paid training will be provided. 

The successful candidate will have basic computer skills, excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to stay composed in high stress situations and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.  This is a full-time position in a 24-hour facility. Working days will vary. 

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Successful completion of pre-employment screening (including a clear criminal history).

Compensation: $19.23/hour
