We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Court Information Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, managing multiple tasks efficiently, maintaining confidentiality, and providing excellent customer service. They should have a strong understanding of legal drafting, criminal procedures, and court operations, as well as the ability to problem-solve, learn quickly, and make sound decisions.

HOURS OF WORK: 

Normal work hours are Monday through Friday 8 am- 4:30 pm with a one- hour unpaid lunch (37.5-hour work week). 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

•    Must have a high school diploma or GED

•    Must have Paralegal Degree AND 3 years' experience with court, court related, law firm, and/or law enforcement agency OR 4 years administrative/business experience with accounting responsibilities

•    Required to be proficient with Microsoft applications specifically 0365. Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams are used daily. Experience creating forms/documents using Adobe Pro highly preferred.

•    Experience with collections, banking, bookkeeping, or transcription experience is preferred.

•    Must be able to operate multiple programs simultaneously.

•    Bilingual is preferred.

•    Excellent critical thinking skills

•    Proven customer service skills; good judgment; tact and courtesy

•    Preferred: Working knowledge of the PA Unified Judicial System; strong knowledge of the accounting/cashier management components of the Common Pleas Case Management System (CPCMS) and knowledge of the PA Rules of Criminal Procedure, PA Rules of Appellate Procedure, PA Rules of Juvenile Court Procedure, local rules, Clerk of Courts Procedures Manual, and Code of Conduct.
