The role also includes on-call responsibilities for STEMI coverage, with a patient volume of approximately 15 consults and 3 procedures per day.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations.
Interpret echocardiograms (echo reads) and perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
Perform cardiac catheterizations and cardiac window procedures.
Provide STEMI call coverage including night and weekend beeper call.
Manage cardiology patients, including pre- and post-procedure care.
